Judy's Cafe

Had the Banquet Skillet yesterday and the hash browns in it were so good! Service was fast, friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in TX 😃

Family owned business with great service. Love their food options. Prices are very reasonable. Their coffee is amazing, so smooth and wonderfully roasted. They also have vegetarian options.

It's always a treat coming to Judy's. Their menu varies from breakfast foods to sandwiches and nothing disappoints. I usually get a breakfast plate but recently decided on a turkey club and it was seriously phenomenal. Subbed okra instead of fries without a problem. Grabbed a delicious slice of cherry pie on the way out which was tart, not overly sweet, and the crust- to die for. Love this place, and recommend to everyone!

It was very busy after church on Sunday and I was pleased that even so we were able to be seated immediately. The entre I ordered came even before I'd finished my salad. Delicious as usual! Judy even made some time to stop and talk with us. She has a chalk sign over her pies, cakes and desserts cabinet that says STRESSED spelled backwards is DESSERTS! Her concoctions are gorgeous and very yummy looking!

The service and food was alright. The sausage I got on my sandwich was store bought but it’s cool. The pancakes were pretty good. 😊

Judy's is a great diner and you can tell because it's typically very busy. Their menu is varied and you are assured of finding something that you like. The prices here are very reasonable, the servers are friendly and attentive. Whether you want some of their delicious pancakes, cinnamon swirl french toast, a gyro, a burger, a healthy salad, or just a piece of Pie, Judy's has it covered!

Home cooking style food. This is the place for delicious breakfast anytime of the day! They also have fresh assorted pies by the slice or take home. I will be returning again to eat here again! Great food Judy's Cafe :-) !

First visit, my omelette and hash browns were TEXAS sized! The restaurant was clean and hand sanitizer was readily available. Our server was very attentive and polite. To top that off we had a pleasant chat with the owner. We will revisit.

Amazing pies! Have to admit we have only stopped in for dessert and coffee on multiple occasions and always get good service with great food.

Great service with Kate. The food is always awesome. Lots of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All staff are very friendly. And how about all those hand made desserts! Wow!

Great little gem tucked away in the corner. Great customer service, friendly staff, clean place and the food is so good. Beef liver was delicious. In a party of 12 we didn't have any issues. Can't wait to come back and try some of the breakfast items. Well worth the stop.

Before I moved over an hour away, my housemate and I ate here regularly & were rarely disappointed with the food and never disappointed with dessert! They have excellent pies and delicious liver and onions, and chicken fried steak. The staff is personable and friendly, great family place.

This was our first visit to this Diner and I can definitely say it will not be our last. Our waitress was very kind and very nice and made sure that our drinks were refilled. The food came exceptionally fast! And everything was great. I have the Western skillet and it was very good! I have the grits which were excellent and they do have very good coffee. We will definitely be back.

Great place, very old school diner with very kind staff. Our waiter was so nice came to check up on us several times to make sure we had coffee and water. Food was great. People let's support our local restaurants during these times. I cant wait to order breakfast for carryout. Hopefully soon we can dine in.

The biscuits and gravy and eggs were pretty good. This is a very traditional southern diner atmosphere. Your coffee will never go cold, your cup will never be empty, and there are smiles abound. This seems like a very popular local diner and is a good place to go to catch up with an old friend. I hear that they are known for their pies, but I did not have any today… next time!

Good food, great service! We had broasted chicken. It was so juicy and crispy, but not greasy. Going to try breakfast next time. We dont have many cafes like this in Richardson area, so glad its here. Try it!

Great cafe to bring the whole family. The space is slightly tight, but we fit our 2 high chairs, 4 adults, and 2 car seats just fine. The food is very good, with a variety of salads, burgers, sandwiches, Greek food, and some other interesting stuff. Also has pies.

Have been here a couple times. Good value. Menu is extensive with many varied choices. Very good food and service. Not fancy but solid. They have a senior discount but you have to ask when you pay.

The service is friendly and it seems nice enough, but the food really isn't that great. I got a chicken fried steak and it tasted completely unseasoned... And both the hash browns and toast were slightly burnt and lacking in that good grease flavor you come to expect from this type of establishment. It is cheap, however, and the kitchen is relatively quick. Would not recommend.

Had a luncheon there today. The food and service was excellent. We're already talking about planning another outing there.

This was my first time eating here, but I really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and checked on us throughout our meal. The food was good, great portions, and reasonably priced. Sadly I was too full after finishing my meal or I would have had a slice of one of their delicious looking pies. I would come back again and recommend eating here as well.

Great place for breakfast. Large breakfast selection. We had the western omelet with a side of biscuits and gravy, and Cinnamon Bread French Toast. The omelet was very good and the gravy served with the biscuits was some of the best I have have had. Will have to come back to check out their Chicken Fried Steak.

Went here for the first time today. Ordered the Judy's Special breakfast; was kind of expensive at $8.95 for two eggs, two sausage, two pancakes. Everything was good except for the pancakes. I can't remember ever having bad pancakes, but these did not taste good. They were eatable, so I ate them. When the waitress came around to pick up the dishes, she asked if everything was okay; I explained that the pancakes were not good; she apologized with less than a sincere response. The waitress obviously did not like her job and was generally unpleasant; but I've seen much worse. I was expecting the owner or manager to come by so I cold explain about the pancakes, but it didn't happen. I will not be returning because I was not impressed with the prices or the taste of the food.

This little restaurant looks like a little hole in the wall from the outside but as soon as you step in the door it’s open and neat and clean. The vibe is like a small town diner and it was clear they have their regulars, as the wait staff was teasing and chatting with them. My mother and I went after the breakfast/brunch rush. We had quick service, friendly waitress, and great food. My mother is the only one in my family that likes LIVER and onions, which she ordered. I have never heard her go on so about her food. Then she had coconut cream pie and was just deliriously happy. My food was excellent as well and the lemon meringue pie was heavenly. If you live in the Garland/Richardson area you have to stop here for Southern home cooked style food.

Always good home cooked food. Evening crowd was just right with no waiting. Nice local place, friendly staff and most importantly breakfast is served all day. It's one of my favorites when I am in the area.

Always, very polite, friendly. Eat breakfast at Judy's every other Thursday morning. The food when served is hot and delicious.

Judy's is a neighborhood restaurant that has good food. I used to consider it the local "greasy spoon" that had passable food. I'm not sure if they are buying better quality food products or they have a kitchen staff now that knows what to do with what they've got -- either way, it's working for them, and me. Wait folk are right there -- good service. It's not high-end, and they get that. I think anyone would feel comfortable there.

Wonderful food every time. I have never been disappointed.
